Player/Parent Team Meeting (If Missed Coach Tate will have the informational packets for you)

Tuesday January 20th @6:00 P.M. in the Wheat Ridge H.S Library

Pre-Season / Winter Workouts:

Mondays & Wednesdays (Strength & Conditioning Workouts) :  4:00 – 5:15 in the Wheat Ridge Weight Room

Saturday’s (Bullpens & Hitting) :  8:00 A.M – 10:00 A.M at One6 Performance

Tryouts:

1. We will have tryouts on Feb 23rd and Feb 24th. All tryouts and practices will be down at the field from 4:00 to 6:00. If weather is a factor, we will have tryouts on the turf field or indoors at our hitting facility. All players must be in proper baseball attire to participate.

2. To tryout you must be in baseball attire:

• White or Grey Baseball pants 
• Royal Blue/Gold/White Shirt (T-Shirt or Long Sleeve)
• Wheat Ridge H.S Baseball hat is preferred or any type of hat (New ones have been purchased and ordered)

* All players will be evaluated each day, with February 25th being our one on one talks with the coaches and players on what level they made, and expectations. 

Practices & Attendance:

1. Practices will begin right after tryouts Monday – Saturday from 4:00 – 6:00 at our Baseball Field @Everitt Middle School, unless otherwise communicated by the coaching staff. 
2. Attendance at practices and games is expected and directly impacts player development, roles, and playing time.
3. If a player must miss practice or a game, direct communication with a coach is required in advance whenever possible. Communication should come from the player, not the parent.

Team Communication – I have set up our new chain of communication (SportsYou App) that we will now be using for Fall, Spring and Summer. This is how I will send Families/Players updates on Practices and Games, as well as any sudden changes we may have. If you have an important topic to speak with me about you may in person or I will also be using my District Email that I am using now! But the SportsYou will be our main point of contact for the Season. 

How to Sign-Up – Below I have included an Access Code for you to use to sign up once you have downloaded the App. Players and Families need to do this please; I will be sending a message to the boys to get this done. Once the app is downloaded, it should prompt you to enter the access code, and then you will choose the correct option, either (Player or Family/Parent).
